Central Michigan University Police Department's
Investigative Division is headed by Detective Sergeant
Jeff Pickler. He is responsible for handling the day to
day operations and coordinating all follow-up investigations on
complaints. He maintains evidence and property associated
with all criminal cases. Our agency works closely with the
Isabella County Prosecuting Attorney's Office to assure that
each criminal complaint is compiled and organized into a format
easily presented to the courts for successful prosecution.
Detectives from the Mt.
Pleasant Police Department, Isabella County Sheriff's
Department, Michigan State Police and Saginaw Chippewa Tribal
Police Department meet on a weekly basis to share investigative
information from their agency in an effort to help solve crimes.
This team concept provides an excellent working relationship
with all of the county law enforcement agencies.
If you have any questions pertaining to the
status of case in which you were involved in on the CMU campus,
please feel free to contact D/Sergeant Jeff Pickler
Monday-Friday between 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. or you may email him at
