   Fred Harris has been with the CMU
   Police Department since October of 2006.
   Harris began his Criminal Justice career
   with the Wexford County Sheriff's Office
   in 1979 as a Corrections Officer.
   Subsequent transfers and promotions
   included Deputy Sheriff, Law Enforcement
   Division, Sergeant and Undersheriff.

   Captain Harris is a B.A and M.B.A graduate
   of Baker College Flint.

   Fred's memberships and associations
   include Michigan Sheriff's Association,
   National Sheriff's Association,
   Deputy Sheriff's Association of Michigan,
   Michigan Association of Chiefs of Police,
   Association of Public Safety Communications
   Officials, Michigan Communications Directors
   Association and the F.B.I. National Academy,
   Michigan Chapter.
