Resident
parking permits are distributed to sophomores, juniors and seniors
on a first-come basis. If space is available, a few freshman
students (less than 300) may be assigned to the residence hall lots,
also on a first-come basis. All other freshmen will be assigned to
the freshman lots (62E and 63) located away from their residence
halls.

When freshman students are
assigned to the freshmen lots they are provide an evacuation schedule (click
here to view schedule). This schedule specifies days and times when all
vehicles must be removed from the freshman lots. This action is necessary
because the freshmen lots are also used for football and special event parking.
All vehicles MUST be removed from the freshmen lots on the dates and at the
times specified on the evacuation schedule or they WILL be ticketed or towed.
The fine for failing to remove a vehicle from the freshman lots for a special
event is $25.
