The ONLINE VEHICLE REGISTRATION form may be used for express registration after July 31st. Express registration is for those Faculty, Staff, Senior Officers and Resident Hall Directors, who need to purchase a permit for the fall semester after July 31st. Those who wish to purchase a summer parking permit will need to come to the CMU Police Department Parking Services.
For applications received during express registration, the
permits must be picked up at the CMU Police Department Parking
Services. However, since all the registration information will
already be in our computer system, express registration will
only take a minute or two. You will simply have to present your
driver's license and vehicle registration to obtain your permit.
Those using express registration will have to obtain their permit from
Parking Services during our normal business hours which are 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Parking Services has some extended during the first week of classes for the fall semester. Call Parking Services at (989) 774-3083 to check on our extended hours.
If you
select payment option PAYROLL DEDUCTION your permit fee will be
deducted from your paycheck beginning in September and will
continue for eight (8) consecutive pays. TEMPORARY employees
are NOT eligible for the PAYROLL DEDUCTION option.
Everyone is encouraged to use express registration to make
purchasing your vehicle permit fast and easy.
