PRE-REGISTRATION (in effect April 1st through July 31st)

Beginning April 1st, the ONLINE VEHICLE REGISTRATION form will be available for all Faculty, Staff, Senior Officers and Resident Hall Directors to register their vehicle for the upcoming fall semester parking permit.

The ONLINE VEHICLE REGISTRATION form may be used for pre-registration for the Academic Year from April 1st through July 31st. Pre-registration is for Faculty, Staff, Senior Officers and Resident Hall Directors who wish to register their vehicle for the upcoming Academic Year only. Those who wish to purchase a summer parking permit ONLY will need to come to the CMU Police Department Parking Services. For applications received during pre-registration, the permits will be mailed to the applicant's CMU Department after July 1st until the second week of August.

In order to pre-register for your parking permit you will need your CMU Global ID and password. Upon signing in your name, status (Faculty, Staff, etc), permanent home address and personnel number will automatically be provided. In the event your permanent home address has changed, please edit appropriately.

When pre-registering for your parking permit, your CMU Department address (campus address) will be required.  If your CMU Department address changed, please edit appropriately. 

If you select payment option PAYROLL DEDUCTION your permit fee will be deducted from your paycheck beginning in September and will continue for eight (8) consecutive pays.  TEMPORARY employees are NOT eligible for the PAYROLL DEDUCTION option. 

For your convenience, we recommend that everyone pre-register for their parking permit for the fall semester between April 1st and July 31st.
