  Cameron has been with the CMU Police
  Department since October of 2000.  He
  began his law enforcement career here
  after attending college and the police
  academy.

  Sergeant Wassman received a B.S. in
  Criminal Justice from Lake Superior State
  University and is a current M.P.A. graduate
  student at CMU.

   Before his promotion to Sergeant in January
   of 2005, Cameron represented CMUPD on
   the Isabella County Traffic Law Enforcement
   Team for one year.

   Cameron is a graduate of the Michigan Law
   Enforcement Executive Leadership Institute
   and is also a licensed EMT in the state of Michigan.
   He currently enjoys serving the department as
   a CPR/First Aid and AED Instructor as well as a
   Laser Speed Measurement Instructor.

   Most recently, Cameron has assumed involvement
   with freshman orientation as the co-coordinator of
   College Life and the Law (a vignette performance by
   CMU students and law officials representing college
   life and laws).
